The main raw materials of prism film are optical grade PET film and UV curing resin. At present, domestic optical grade PET film manufacturers mainly include lucky and other companies. UV curing resin is also known as UV shadowless adhesive, photosensitive adhesive, etc. It refers to a kind of adhesive that can be cured only by UV irradiation. It can be used as adhesive, paint, ink, etc. The curing principle of UV adhesive is that the photoinitiator (or photosensitizer) in UV curing materials absorbs ultraviolet rays under the irradiation of ultraviolet rays to produce living free radicals or cations, initiate monomer polymerization, cross-linking and grafting chemical reactions, and make the adhesive change from liquid to solid within a few seconds.
Different from the adhesives used in paints, coatings and inks, the UV glue required in the production of optical film is 100% solid content, and the formula composition is generally acrylic monomer, acrylic oligomer, additive, photoinitiator, etc. Since the UV wavelength used falls between 320-400 nm (UVA), this must also be fully considered in the UV photoinitiator used in the resin formula. The technical indexes to be considered for UV curing resin for liquid crystal prism film are as follows: appearance: colorless or light color transparent. Viscosity: due to the different viscosity required by different processes and equipment, the resin viscosity used in hard mold is generally higher than that in soft mold manufacturing. The printing roller has a production line with heating equipment, which can be used for a wider range of viscosity. Refractive index: the refractive index of the resin used in the current market is basically greater than 1.54. Adhesion: it has good affinity with optical grade PET with primer, and the 100 grid test is qualified. Prism products are made by UV curing the prism structure on the transparent plastic substrate (optical grade PET / PC) with the help of UV resin, and the surface of optical grade transparent substrate and prism structure are easy to be scratched. Therefore, the protective effect of front and back protective films is indispensable.
