According to the StVO, parked vehicles must also be marked with warning signs if they are parked in town and have a permissible total weight of more than 3,5 tons. The labeling obligation also applies to caravans and vehicles with trailers. Warning signs for marking parked vehicles are available both stationary and foldable and have a reflective film coating in accordance with DIN standard 67520. As an alternative to reflective warning signs, we can also supply night parking signs with high-performance reflectors on request. The road traffic regulations prescribe the use of red and white warning signs according to DIN standard 11030 for overlong and overwide vehicles in agriculture and forestry. Red and white warning signs are used to block overhanging cargo and are identified by red and white stripes. Note that the stripe drawing should always face outwards and downwards so that the red triangle is visible in the outer top corner of the overwidth warning sign.
